1. Test your skinCut a small 5 cm square piece of tape and apply a test patch to your breast/breast for 12 hours to make sure your skin does not react. Remember that the skin on your breast is different from the rest of your skin.
2. Clean and dry your skinThis is super important! Skin that is not clean and dry will be oily and may prevent the adhesive from sticking properly. Please make sure your skin is free of:
Lotions and oils (including moisturizing soaps and body washes that leave a lotion on your skin)
Powders, concealers or makeup products
Perfumes or deodorants
Fresh spray tans
3. Measure and cutBefore you start, don't forget that tape stretches! Cutting too large a strip will not hold your chest in place. So you need to stretch the cut piece to get a good fit.
Cut a strip of the tape that can reach from the base of your breasts to the shoulder or collarbone. You will need 2-3 strips per breast and remember that larger breasts will need more tape to support the heavier load!
Slowly peel the liner off the tape, making sure it doesn't touch each other or your hands too much. Remember, this is a one-time use product, once the tape touches something, it won't stick back together.
4. Lift and stick
Use one hand to lift your breast to the desired height and with your other hand, create an "anchor" by applying the breast tape to the base of your breast. Gently but firmly slide your hand over the tape until you reach the base of the nipple.
Once the ribbon is anchored, you can pull the ribbon up and stick it to your chest, securing your breast in place.
Do not apply too much tension on the tape as you pull up. Excessive tension on the tape can cause the tape to pull excessively on the skin and cause irritation.
Smooth out the wrinkles and remember that once it touches the skin, it will no longer stick.
Carefully trim off any excess. Be careful not to lift the tape too much because you won't be able to stick it back on your skin!
How to remove it?
Generously apply coconut oil or a moisturizer to the chest tape. Let the tape soak in the oil for 15 minutes. This will help break down and loosen the adhesive.
Rub the edges of the tape and slowly pull a small corner to the base of your breasts
Remove the tape gently (do not pull perpendicular to your skin or at a 90 degree angle as this can cause irritation or injury).
Remove the tape slowly, adding more oil under the tape if necessary. Do not tear the tape
